1. Set Up a U.S. Mint Account (if not already done):
   • Visit the U.S. Mint’s website at https://catalog.usmint.gov/.
   • Click Sign In at the top right corner, then Create an Account if needed.
   • Ensure your shipping address and billing information are correct, as changes may be difficult after purchase.
2. Enable Fast Checkout Options:
   • Add your credit card information ahead of time and enable quick checkout. This saves valuable seconds when the coin goes live.
3. Sign In Early:
   • Sign in to your U.S. Mint account 15–30 minutes before the release time to prevent any delays.

   • Locate the product page. The link can be found at the top of our Lock-In Form. Bookmark or have it open in a tab 10-15 minutes before release.

2. Purchasing at Release Time

1. Refresh the Product Page:
   • At release time, refresh the product page to make the “Add to Cart” button appear.
2. Quickly Add to Cart:
   • Click “Add to Cart” immediately when visible. If you’re taken to a “virtual waiting room,” do not refresh as it may delay your checkout.
3. Proceed to Checkout:
   • Click on the cart or “Checkout” button. With saved payment and shipping information, use quick checkout to speed up the process.

3. Troubleshooting Tips

1. Page Freezing or Loading Errors:
   • If the website slows down or crashes, avoid repeatedly refreshing. Wait a few seconds, then refresh once if needed.
2. Virtual Waiting Room:
   • If placed in a queue, don’t refresh the page to avoid losing your place. Wait patiently, as this part can take a few minutes.
3. Out of Stock Notifications:
   • If the item shows “out of stock” right after release, it could be temporary. Refresh the page once after 30 seconds to check if stock has been updated.

4. Expected Timeframe

The checkout process should ideally take 2–5 minutes. However, high demand may mean it could take up to 10–15 minutes. Once the order confirmation appears, your purchase is complete.

5. Locking In the Purchase – Confirming with Us

After the release, fill out the form on the Products page to lock in your sale to us, if you purchased any. Complete the form and you are good to go!
